Turret gunner protection has always been a priority at BMI Defense Systems and the Gunner Accessory Package (GAP) demostrates the level to which our engineers and developers are able to provide blunt force trauma portection.

The GAP (1.0) was the first-generation of an advanced accessory package that was tested and developed through invaluable customer feedback. This GAP Kit consists of left and right side turret pads which address extreme terrians, whithin the hostile enviornment that a gunner or scout may encounter.  Rapid deceleration/acceleration and IED events often occur and may cause traumatic internal injuries to gunners.  These pads and associated accessories help alliviate these injuries in part or completely.

The GAP Kit also consist of an upgraded Turret Stowage and Accessory Kit (T-SAK), Turret Pad and Rib Guard, Left and Right turret bracket padding, soft grab handles, and turret motor pads.

These gunner protection kits are available for the OGPK, Platt, and MCTAGS turret systems.

The first-generation of GAP kits (1.0) are now offered in a second-generation of kits GAP (2.0).
