Gunner Seats
BMI Defense Systems manufactures a variety of energy attenuating turret gunner seats to work with many different vehicle positions. These gunner or scout seats are engineered to substantially reduce circulatory and nerve stress allowing the gunner to stay alert longer while maintaining their protective defilade. BMI Defense designs our seats with the gunner's combat performance and safety in mind so as not to compromise combat actions in the turret.
Ergonomic Gunner Seat (EGS)
The Ergonomic Gunner Seat is optimized for healthy posture of the gunner and is fully adjustable to accommodate the full range of gunner sizes - from the 50th percentile female to the 95th percentile male. The EGS also has a quick release buckle on both side straps for easily removal and installation. BMI p/n 800-1610
Classic Gunner Seat (GPS)
The Classic Gunner Seat is our original design created in 2005 and is the seat that drove the market for all gunner seats available today. The seat is fully adjustable to accommodate the full range of gunner sizes - from the 50th percentile female to the 95th percentile male. It has a single quick release buckle on one side strap. Spec Ops Seat (SOF)
This is a slimmed down version of our Classic Gunner Seat with a smaller seating surface and a single quick release buckle on one side strap. Originally designed for the USMC ITV, it quickly made its way onto the GD Flyer, the SRTV and other rapidly deployable vehicles where weight was a concern. BMI p/n 600-1156
Picatinny Seat Assembly (PICA)
This seat is not our design but as expert manufacturers of gunner seating systems, we have been called on to manufacture this US Army product. p/n 13014413
