BMI provides senior level subject matter experts (SMEs) in acquisition management to assist in the procurement of systems and products. BMI SMEs help ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, stream line the acquisition process and lower acquisition costs. Our experts assist in the preparation and review of all procurement documentation, such as statements of work, performance work statements, acquisition milestones, risk management and quality assurance plans. Our experts also provide valuable pre-award reviews and expert source selection assistance for complicated procurements by our customers.
Business Operations Support
BMI provides various levels of administrative and specialized services in support of our client's business operations. BMI assists in program planning, program assessment, process development, requirements generation, contract management, budget preparation, process controls, and milestone development. Additionally, BMI currently provides Integrated Master Scheduling support services to enhance both business operations and project management for our clients.
Product Deployment/Fielding Support --- BMI has and is currently providing installation support services and operational training on several products related to the MRAP vehicles.
BMI provides information assurance assistance for MARCOSYSCOM in the accreditation and testing efforts in accordance with Marine Corps and DOD regulations by providing qualified and certified ( DOD 8570, level III IAT) Information Assurance Officers to assist in the oversight, development, and review of all accreditation documents that are required by MCSC SIAT; development of specific technical solutions for securing systems and ensuring they still operate correctly, oversight of test events, and interface with both the Certification Authority Representative (CAR); Operational Designated Approving Authority and any other office in support of the accreditation of the products currently under development, as well as projected products.
IT Engineering & System Support
BMI it personnel currently maintains the Sharepoint site inside the MCSC firewall; tracks internal IT and facility requests; maintains the program offices master list of IT assets and facility trouble tickets as tabulated to individual account holders; and enables/disables site access (and sub-section access) to approved persons.
BMI engineers and senior engineers provide: design, drawings (including 3D drawings), technical management and problem definition, analysis and requirements development, and implementation for various complex systems in specific subject matter areas of expertise.
BMI provides comprehensive and practical training as needed by its government clients. Specific areas of training include federal acquisition (SSEB's, data rights, SOW/PWS, and general FAR overviews), fiscal law and project tracking using Microsoft Project.
